Saturday Why
It’s a whole
new month with no mistakes in it yet. It’s a good time to stop and reflect. So
let’s consider every dancer’s million dollar question: Why do I dance?
There is no
right answer, and the quote above applies to dance teachers, but could also apply to dancers. It is helpful to think
about this periodically, simply because it helps motivation.
If you’ve
lost your reason – your purpose - to dance, it may be impossible to continue. But
if you have only lost sight of it,
then it is easier to resurrect.
Remind
yourself every now and then, why.
