Sunday Un-Choreographed
Think back
over your special memories. What do they involve? Getting a great role in a
ballet? A compliment by someone who doesn’t usually give them? Receiving an
award? These are certainly memorable things.
But I’ll bet
that there are other things that are equally special, but small. Like a moment
with a friend on a special outing that turned into something memorable for no
apparent reason. Or it may have been a solitary time, when you felt “at one
with the world” - again for no apparent reason.
Look for
these un-choreographed moments so you will be more likely to recognize them –
they can be, and usually are - fleeting. But, as the saying goes, good things
often come in small packages.
From the Big Blue Book of Ballet Secrets
Motivational Secret #174:
“Notice and
appreciate un-choreographed moments.”
