Fun Friday Hands on Head
Two way energy can be difficult for some students to feel. Here is yet another way to find this all-important feeling.
Place both hands, palms down, on your head. Apply gentle pressure downward with the hands while simultaneously lengthening the body to apply equal pressure upwards against the hands pressing down. Two-way energy.
Now try the same thing in different balletic positions, standing on two feet, then balancing on one foot. Because of the two-way energy, you will feel a greater stability.
