Saturday Murphy Again
I’ve talked about Murphy’s Law before: “Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.”
This life law was named after Edward Aloysius Murphy who was an American aerospace
engineer. No kidding.
Anyway, dancers have many of their own
versions of Murphy’s famous law, and today’s example is this one: The best balances you do will be in your
kitchen, with its corollary: when you
are all alone.
A former dance roommate of mine decided
this must have something to do with the appliances – their electrical fields or
something. Hmmm….

“Floyd
could imagine a dozen things that could go wrong; it was little consolation
that it was always the thirteenth that actually happened.”
