Mad Monday Motor
A common problem for beginners and advanced dancers alike is making any series of steps connect smoothly and seamlessly. Especially when learning new steps, this process can be daunting.
It helps to remember that your “motor” needs to be idling even when not being used (as in moving). If the ignition is turned off, it must be restarted and this results in a sporadic, jerky series of movements. Not good.
So even when at rest for a count or two, the engine is still on and humming, ready to go at a moment’s notice.
