What Would You Do If...Part Two
Earlier I blogged about the phrase: “What would you do if you knew you couldn’t
fail?” Here is another, related
thought. What would you do if you
weren’t afraid?
This is usually the heart of the matter. When we decide not to do something, it is
often because of fear. We are afraid of
failing, afraid of not being perfect, afraid of being judged, afraid of being
laughed at - or a lot of other things too numerous to list.
Consider this: go
boldly forward and pretend you aren’t
afraid. Courage, after all, isn’t
absence of fear; it is forging ahead despite the fear.

“Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment
that something else is more important than fear.”
