Sunday Flat Tire
I saw a disabled car beside the road the other day – a flat
tire was the cause. It made me think
that a flat tire is just like a bad attitude:
it will only allow you to travel a short distance. If you want to make any more progress, you
must change the tire!
How do you avoid flat tires in the mind? Look back over the Sunday blogs here and you
will find lots of suggestions. But
basically, it involves your own personal motivation. Ask yourself:
“What motivates me?” Answer
honestly and use that answer whenever you get a warning light on your dashboard
telling you your tire (attitude) is low.
Focus on that which motivates you – and stamp out thought of
things that tear down that motivation.
Beware flat tires – and if you get one, change it!
From the Big Blue Book of Ballet Secrets:
Motivational Secret #37:
“A bad attitude is like
a flat tire: it can get you only so far.
