Wacky Wednesday Zipper Plié
I’ve used zippers as an image before.
Here is a new one:
When coming up from a plié, picture a giant,
upside-down zipper. At the bottom of the plié, the zipper is open. Now, as you
come up, imagine gradually connecting each individual tooth of the zipper – beginning from the top of your thighs to
your ankles.
This image assures a smooth movement and
prevents popping pliés on the way up. One must never pop during pliés. Never.

Secret #2hhh:
“Come up from a plié like a zipper closing.”
