Mad Monday Rise
Let’s start the work week with another
postural image! Can we ever have enough of these? Probably not.
Even if you don’t cook, you probably
know what it looks like when a well- kneaded yeast bread batter slowly rises –
moving the covering on the bowl. And If you’ve never baked bread it is a fun
thing to do – not to mention delicious as it comes out of the oven! Then there is that wonderful smell that permeates the
house…yummmm.
But back to ballet: To lift your
posture, simply picture the bread rising. It rises as it bakes, too, so use
that image if it works better for you.
