Things You Cannot Do
The above
quote by Picasso expresses what dancers do every day. We are always striving to
do things we cannot do, and that’s exactly how we end up able to do them.
This can
apply in other areas too. Doing things you think you cannot do is motivational,
and inspirational. Think about doing something this week – some small thing –
that you think you cannot do. If you are a shy person, do something bold. Or go
somewhere you’ve never been, even if it is only across town. Try learning a new
skill. You get the idea.
Shake up
your routine. Do something you think you cannot do.
From the Big Blue Book of Ballet Secrets
Motivational Secret #177:
“Keep on doing the things you cannot
do.”

Quote of the Day:
”The artist
is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky,
from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider's
web.”
