Sunday Question
Today’s motivational secret is a question: “What’s stopping you?” This sounds simple enough, but it can be
complex. What is it that is keeping you from being motivated? Often it is fear
of failure, and this will stop progress in its tracks. Maybe it is thinking the
effort isn’t worth it. If that’s the answer it is time to evaluate your
goals and determine if it is time for a change of plans, or more likely, a
change in the thought process itself.
There are many reasons for flagging motivation. Sometimes it
is as simple as fatigue and the need to take a break. Motivation, by its very
nature, it changeable. It isn’t always running at a high rate and it is up to
us to tweak it when necessary.
But the first step is to ask “What’s stopping you?”
