Sunday September

Sunday September

Last Sunday I talked about taking time for stillness. Now, use that stillness and observe the changes that the wonderful month of September brings. Even for those of us who live in Florida there are changes. For Floridians, we get a few days when a hint of fall in the guise of temperatures lower than “fry an egg on the sidewalk” tease us. There is hope for cooler comfort to come.

In other climates, September is a month of beautiful weather and subtle changes. Slowly, leaves begin to color and drop, and some nights are cool enough for a sweater. There is a bittersweet anticipation about September – the lush, green glory of summer giving way, slowly, to the riot of fall color that precedes the inevitable chill of winter.

Observe and enjoy the changes that happen in your area.

From the Big Blue Book of Ballet Secrets
Secret #245:
“Observe and enjoy the subtle changes of the seasons.”
