Fun Friday Cobra Frappé
Today’s thought is an extension of Ballet Secret #10a: Imagine a snake striking. Imagine not
just any snake but a cobra!
When cobras strike, their outward movement is extremely
fast, followed by a quick retraction. Also, they can only strike within a range
that is 1/3 of their body length so they have a stopping point – just like
frappés. (In frappés, remember that the movement stops at the extension, but the energy continues).
Don’t just imagine frappés striking – imagine cobras striking!

finding out that a cobra is deadly; without first having to lose one’s
