Sunday Outdoors
On this Fourth of July weekend, most of us will spend some
time outdoors (weather permitting). Dancers spend so much of their time buried
inside a dance studio or theater, this is a refreshing change.
Even on normal workdays, when time outside is minimal,
make a point of observing what you can on your travels to and from. Even in a
big city, there is much to notice of the “wilder” world, whether it is a pigeon
going about his day, or a flower pushing its way up through a crack in the
sidewalk. These are small things, but once your awareness is heightened you
will notice more and more details. It is uplifting.
Now, in the fullness of summer, there is even more to see
and appreciate. Look for it and you’ll find lots of inspiration.
