As the name suggests, cabriole italienne [ka-bree-AWL
ee-ta-LYEN] is an Italian cabriole. It is a variation of the cabriole fouetté (cabriole
whipped), which is sometimes called fouetté
battu and is a cabriole devant that finishes in arabesque.
In a cabriole italienne, the beat occurs
after the body turns into arabesque.
