Sunday Breathe

Sunday Breathe

Every so often during a ballet class I remind my students to breathe. It sounds almost silly, but when concentrating or stressed, human beings tend to hold their breath. Not good!

Reminding yourself to breathe during daily life is a good habit to cultivate. It is so easy to hold tension and stress in the body and that’s often when breath-holding occurs.

One of the easiest and best ways to relax and unwind is to think about your breathing, and make it slow and easy.

“Just breathe.”
