Superstitious Saturday Rabbit Rabbit
Everyone is familiar with the idea that
a rabbit’s foot is believed to bring good luck. But I never heard this one (apparently
common in Britain and North America): saying
“rabbit rabbit” or “white rabbit" on the first day of the month ensures good

The same source states: “Back in 600
B.C., rabbits were thought to communicate with the spirits of the underworld
because they lived underground.”
Since it is June 1st, why not
try it?
